Yumebutai is a conference center, hotel, and memorial designed by Tadao Ando. While Awaji island might not be on the typical tourist path, you could spend hours exploring the grounds of this magnificent place. We enjoyed a picnic lunch on one of the verandas overlooking the "100 squares" of terraced gardens. If you go mid-week, you'll feel like you have the entire place to yourself!

"The property is well equipped & clean. The sauna provides relaxing moment in modern style. Excellent! We just left the bathtub which is open in the middle of the Villa as we were a group of 4. Staff were nice and helpful and I loved that the hotel was attached to the airport. The hotel was very quiet - we couldn’t hear any planes at all which surprised us. "
