“It’s an uncommon review where you almost run out of superlatives But in the case of Masana Algarve, the setting is a nice quiet neighborhood away from the somewhat congested center of town and yet within walking distance of some nice grocery shops and little bistros. “The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. “Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“The hotel stuff were exceptional and went out of their way to help us. Of particular note were their ability to cater for food allergies and explain their whole buffet with respect to allergens. The staff also arranged for non-dairy milk to be sent to the pool cafe so that we could enjoy a coffee there when other facilities were closed”

“The numerous pools onsite we enjoyable and my son,8, enjoyed the kids zone with the water slides. The beds we comfortable, the hotel was relatively quiet at night while sleeping, the room was large with plenty of room for my family of three, the kitchen was well-equiped and close to city center for groceries and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here!”
