"Rooms old and outdated. Toilet didnt flush well, handsoap was not filled so had to use the soap in the shower when wasing hands. Small pool. Slow service in bar. Bell hop area rude and slow. Absolutely not worth the price we paid."

"The hotel’s atmosphere has noticeably changed over the past few years. There is no longer service by the pool, so guests must walk up to the bar to order drinks or food. I stayed on the 12th floor, and the hallway had a strong sewage odor when exiting the elevator and walking to the room. The room itself was clean and had no odor, but the hallway smell was very unpleasant each time I walked to my room. It would also be great if the rooftop bar were open in the evenings. On a positive note, the staff service was good. I didn’t raise the issue during my stay because I was on a tight schedule, but looking back I wish I had. The odor on the floor leading to my room was unacceptable and should be addressed."

"This place was listed as a hotel. It is not a hotel. It is a motel and the entrance to your rooms are from outside. The rooms have recently been redone still some old furniture, but they’re hard floors no carpet they were clean. The property itself needed a lot of work the lobby when you walk in had a weird smell and really needed an updating, but the people were nice based on the ratings. I expected it to be higher than it was."

"This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to be. It is very well kept and clean. We really enjoyed the harp player in the lobby. She created such a peace, peaceful environment. The front desk staff are very friendly, professional, and check-in was very simple. The only downside was that the gentleman in the valet parking area must have misplaced our belongings upon arrival. We checked in our items at 3:30 PM. We checked in into our room at 4:45PM, and our luggage wasn’t delivered to our room until a little after 6:30 PM. I had to call the front desk twice and even go down in person to see what was going on. This issue caused us to miss our dinner reservation, since we were waiting on our belongings. Aside from that issue, our stay was wonderful! Did I mention we had a breathtaking view of downtown San Diego?"
