"The accommodation was basic but clean, located on the beach but it’s not relaxing due to the large volume of long tails boats arriving and departing all day every day. Getting a long tail boat to the pier can also be difficult. They won’t leave with one or two people so you often have to wait until more are ready to leave. Getting dropped off by the taxi boat in high tide is difficult especially at night. No good options for eating close by. You can walk to the main area in about 20/25 mins but...

"Hotel Adam was terrific. Location is near the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, but still a 10 minute walk, offering a bit of seclusion. The walk to the beach is also close, with various restaurants to choose from.
