「Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. 「The host declared the lodge ready for us to enter. On arrival it was absolutely freezing inside and was uninhabitable. I messaged the host to say it was very cold and she ignored the message. There was no heating on at all so as we still needed a place to stay we put the heating on and went back a few hours later. To make matters worse we were with our elderly mother who has terrible rheumatoid arthritis and we had to take her back home. It was supposed to be a family get together before...
