“The penthouse is a great room, no it's a small apartment!; a fantastic space, well equipped with abundant and great facilities and it has a fantastic terrace with break-taking views. However, it is looking quite tired and there were a few issues, i.e. the freezer wasn't working, so we couldn't make ice. The wine fridge also wasn't working. A couple of lamps need bulbs replacing and the blind doesn't work in the bathroom. ”

“All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. “It's a rare joy to find a hotel with in room controlled aircon. I'd rebook just for that! The hotel is a grand old place and parking is a nightmare. But it's well situated with a sea walk just yards from your door and a surprisingly quiet location close to town.”
