"Lovely "

"Hotel is excellent, great spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and nice showers. Only minor complaint is the small shower screen doesn't do a great deal to stop the water well, bathroom floor ended up being flooded."

"Kitchen could have used a bigger pan/pot, no mirror in the bathroom. Bedsheets were dirty and covered in hair on arrival, forced to sleep on the couch for the first night. But housekeeping resolved the issue quickly on the next day "

"No hot water in the morning for the shower/sink. I was told this was because someone switched off the main boiler. Apart from that, good value and nice staff."

"The hotel itself was ok, and reasonably clean, but there was someone banging about downstairs and banging doors from around 11pm until about 6am. We literally got no sleep, and I was doing the Leeds Marathon the next morning. Really did ruin it"

"I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."

"An ideal place for an overnight stop down the M1. Clean and comfortable with an excellent cooked breakfast."

"Room is perfect and good value for money, bed was extremely comfortable and both areas (bathroom as well) were spotlessly clean. Our experience with both Tom on reception and Natasha in the morning for breakfast were fantastic. Both were friendly and helpful and Natasha’s humour when she spoke to us was amazing. The room was very spacious too! Thank you for making our stay so pleasant."
