"*** WARNING *** They will place an up-front charge for potential damages on your credit card and it will take days for it to be zeroed out. I will not be returning as long as this customer unfriendly policy remains in place. The property is dated throughout. I would definitely not call it a "Chateau", more like a lodge. "I had a great 6 day stay at the Inn at Big White. My room was old decor and the lighting was a bit dark but generally I was only there to sleep anyway. I was located on the first floor which was next to the bar area and noisy but it seemed to get quiet by 9pm. Staff were very helpful and always cheerful. Ski locker and garage were easy and best of all the walk into the centre was 1 minute. I had to do some work video calls whilst I was there and the wifi was fine. I would stay there again."
