“The linens seemed clean and the room and been dusted. I expect the carpet was vacuumed, but it had several large stains in it. The curtain rod was about to fall from the wall on the right-hand side. The towel rack from the shower door was broken off. I found it in the room, and was able to put it back on the shower door. However, this isn't something a guest should need to do. The part of the sink drain which allows you to hold or release water from the sink was not hooked up. The room……

“Stayed four nights and did not get one good nights sleep. They control (override) the room temperature at night and would wake up hot at 1-2 every morning. I’m sure they save energy but it is not good for getting me to be a repeat customer.”

“Check-in was fast and staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included fruit & danishes along with the other prepared breakfast food and juices. We took our little Papillon and she tends to be a yapper but no one ever complained. Our room was extremely clean and even included a microwave. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Graystone. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Boone NC. ”

“Only issue was that my reservation was incorrect and I had to wait over an hour for them to locate my correct reservation. Expedia indicated to them it was in the system and they indicated it was not. It was finally resolved when the manager realized she had access to an aspect of the system that the front desk clerk did not. And lord and behold the reservation was in her system.”

“The room felt we experienced a bait and switch. Room was in a basement,no windows, and a very musty smell. The roof top bar was closed. Never again!”

“Great location! Short walk to the shops on Main Street and dining. Just a few miles to some great hikes. The staff was incredibly professional and helpful. The room was perfect and clean. Well priced! Will book again next time we are in town.”
