Schmutzig und laut, kein Service

Der Zustand des Zimmers war bis auf Kleinigkeiten in Ordnung. Leider war vor allem der Boden ekelhaft schmutzig. Es war kein Personal im Haus, das man darauf hätte ansprechen können. Die Lage ist central aber leider neben einer Kneipe mit langer Schlange, die sehr viel Lärm verursacht. Man kann daher nur bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es aber nicht.

Var ikke klar over at det var nattklubb i huset så sov vel ikke stort den natten og med eksamen dagen etter burde jeg ha sjekket dette på forhånd. Sengen var forferdelig. Kjente hver en springfjær. Rent og ryddig. Og enkelt med nøkkel i boks.

Et greit hotell om man reiser på budsjett. Veldig sentralt, jeg hadde rom til bakgård så hørte ikke noe støy fra gaten. Litt dårlig renhold.

Value for the money

I would call it the “value for the money” hotel. Super easy check in (no one in the reception). My room had an OK bed. Not the highest cleaning standard when looking underneath the bed. Nice big TV which didn’t work due to lack of battery in the remote. There were some construction work going on in the neighborhood. It didn’t bother me.

Skittent. Dårlig renhold. Det var hårdotter, støv og graps. Vi så de ansatte kun når vi ankom, ellers var de tilsynelatende fraværende. Bildene på nett viser ikke den reelle standard. Det var hun i vegger, bulker og skraper. Flekkete gulv osv.

I det hele et bra opphold

Very central location. Check in was a bit confusing but it worked out in the end. If you want something quiet, this is not the place for you. There are many bars around that play music until late night. I only met the staff for my check out but they were extremely helpful over the phone and email.

Just right

The microwave wasn't working, which was an unpleasant find, and I could never be sure of the refrigerator was working. But other than that everything was quite comfortable and just what I needed. It can get a bit loud, as there's a nightclub under it, but the hotel provides ear plugs.

Uheldig med rom, ellers veldig bra

Basic hotell er en god beskrivelse for dette hotellet. Jeg vil si dette er et perfekt hotell for ungdommer som ønsker å feste i helgene, eller for de som ønsker å bo i Bergen for en rimelig penge. Det var blod på sengetrekk på rommet vi overnattet på, noe som gjør at jeg trekker ned scoren veldig lavt. Ellers en dette var tilstanden på gjenstandene ikke så bra, men det er egentlig ikke et problem. Man har alt man trenger, og får det man betaler om. Et stort pluss er et lite kjøleskap for eksempel. Det er også TV på rommet, men kontrollen som fulgte med var tom for strøm (batteriene). Jeg vil derfor konkludere med at meg og kjæresten min var uheldige med rommet, men ellers enn dette var dette et veldig bra hotell i forhold til pris.

Hôtel bien placé dans le centre de Bergen. Prestations basiques comme l’indique son nom. La chambre n’a pas été faite pendant les trois jours que nous y avons passés mais surtout, il y a une boîte de nuit en-dessous qui n’est évidemment pas indiqué dans l’offre. Du coup, musique audible jusqu’à 2:30 samedi, dimanche et lundi soir. A éviter je pense.

WORST NIGHT SLEEP

The hotel is as the name suggests, is basic. The worst aspect, and one which should stop anyone from booking here, is the presence of two nigh clubs downstairs. We were on the fith floor, and coule hear everything all night even with ear plugs in- there was no prior warning of this, and especial odd as they provided the ear plugs! The staff are curtious and helpful, which was the upside of having 4hours of sleep.
