Great location and view-beds need new mattresses

We love staying at Sea Colony! This condo had a great view and location. The only downfall was that the beds were really uncomfortable, and the mattresses badly need to be replaced. Other than that we had no complaints! (We wouldn’t stay there again until the the mattresses are replaced).

Sea Colony 208 Chesapeake

Location is great, however sleeping accommodations were poor. Mattress very worn as was the comforter. Furniture drawers fall out and floors under bed very dirty. TV in living room was way too small for size of room. Kitchen was good and well stocked with dishes and cookware. Would recommend staying at Sea Colony, but not this particular unit. Sea Colony beach and amenities were wonderful.

Decent, but dated

The place was decent for sure. Old but decent couch, small but decent TVs, worn but decent shower. Great, convenient location with a very nice view. Kitchen was good too. Bedroom and overall cleanliness left plenty to be desired. The beds roll around when you get on them. The bedspreads are very old and stiff like a motel. Again, nothing ruined the trip or anything, but plenty of second looks were a bit disappointing too. Decent, for sure. But for the price (and in comparison to other units in the same complex) not ideal.

Wonderful views

This home has a wonderful and private balcony with great ocean views. The unit is located close to elevator and beach access. The condo was appointed with all the things needed to cook meals there. The appliances worked great and the A/C was also in good condition. Super clean and tidy upon arrival. Great unit!

A lovely spot

During the month of September, the balcony here stays totally shaded all day which is really a plus. Perfect view of beach, and all the wonderful ocean sounds that go along! Only a few sounds from pipes and other units; mostly very quiet.

Great location, condo a bit dated

We had a great time at Sea Colony—it is super convenient, great views, and incredibly family friendly. The actual unit was a bit outdated and could use a refresh, but suited our family of 4 well (2 kids under 3 and 2 adults). I wish the beds were a little bigger than doubles and that the layout in the living room was set up to enjoy the view, but minor gripes considering the convenience of everything else at the complex.

Location can't be beat

Staying at Sea Colony is always a great experience and this wasn't any different. Sea Colony has private beach and pool access, you walk out of your room and you're steps down to the beach. It's always the perfect getaway. This property was as nice as the others. It's been recently updated, but has a few quirks. There's a lot of switches and outlets so figuring out what goes where takes some time. The beds are also not very comfortable, I was glad we'd brought some extra blankets and pillows for padding.
