"This is my only review from my odyssey from SW Florida to wine country CA, and back. Aside from a friend’s home in CA, nothing comes remotely close to the quality of this experience at Greenway Manor. It took a call which was answered promptly by a very pleasant entrepreneur to get settled in. She set me up in a beautiful bungalow behind the main house next to a garage with a nice mural on the side. The place was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Sandwiched between hotels/motels, ranging from filthy to clean in common areas and rooms, staffed with from high level professionals to desk agents sitting at tables with phone and soda leaving a ‘be back soon’ sign, or sitting in a back room out of earshot, or leaving their post to accommodate continental breakfast patrons, only answering “is anybody here?” the third time with “you’ve got to be a little patient.” No, actually I’m paying you to not abandon your post and ignore my calls until you feel like it. The best was the desk agent in company polo and flannel pajama bottoms! If this sounds like wasting money to you as well, seek out places like the Greenway Manor. Should I find myself within 25 miles or so of the place again, that’s where I’m staying. And I’ll leave time to check out her restaurant downtown Bisbee."
