"Be careful, you have to register online with the hotel to get an entry code, during the process you have to enter your phone number, the website kept telling us it was the wrong format no matter what we tried! Very frustrating and stressful when you are scheduled to arrive and you can’t get a code! We finally discovered if you put a + sign before the number, the registration process works but not too many Americans would know this. Clean, small, functional, great location but if you can help it do NOT get a car, parking is a nightmare. They have 5 small spots downstairs you can rent for $40 every 12 hours, not a car friendly city. Lastly, our true savior who literally saved us from a mental breakdown was Constantina, she helped us register, called the company, got our codes, explained about the parking, she was so sweet, so helpful, we saw her every morning for coffee and she was always smiling and happy to see us. Don’t know what we would have done without her. Free laundry on site you provide the detergent. Short walk to river and train station, really a great location and you can’t beat the price in Zurich. Wish there was a roof deck or somewhere you can have a nightcap and visit but there is not. Great Kebab restaurant just down the hill, easily share one entree to save some $$$, they aren’t kidding when they say Zurich is expensive! The bed is comfortable and there is a lift for upper floors. All in all a good stay just wish the check in was a little easier."

"Excellent location, but unfortunately the overall experience fell well below expectations. We arrived at 16:00 but were unable to check in on time because maintenance was still being carried out in our room. Once inside, we found several issues: the tap was constantly leaking and could not be fully turned off, and the bathtub was extremely slippery. We requested an anti-slip mat but were told that none were available. Although an extra towel was provided, this is not an adequate solution to what is essentially a safety concern. The room also had no bin apart from a very small one in the bathroom, no fridge, and one of the bath towels was visibly worn. The handling of the travel adapter was particularly frustrating. Reception insisted that an EU adapter would work, even though we had already tested two adapters in every socket in the room. Only after speaking to another member of staff was it confirmed that a Swiss adapter was actually required. The issue could have been resolved much more efficiently if our explanation had simply been taken seriously in the first place. The location is undoubtedly a strong point, and the room itself was comfortable, but basic maintenance, facilities and customer service need significant improvement."

"Hotel was basic and reasonably priced for a Zurich hotel. The excellent location was just across the bridge to the main train station. Also, it was located right in the heart of a fun, lively area with lots of excellent, traditional restaurants. The breakfast and coffee was excellent and plentiful in a nice breakfast room. The bathroom was modern and very clean and had everything you need. I would recommend this hotel."
