“We recently stayed at your farm on the 31st December Whilst we loved the location and easy check in, we arrived at just gone 5pm and were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, we do not think it had been cleaned at all since the last guests and likely longer than that. In usual cases we would have let someone know, but as the cleanliness was several major things and not a quick fix, we didn’t want to ruin New years eve by not having a room and a staff member having to come do what was……

“The team at the Royal Oak were fantastic from check in to check out. Freshly cooked tasty breakfast every morning and would definitely reccommend the sunday roast which was delicious. The team were very friendly and helpful throughout. The location was absolutely perfect!”

“The inn was okay and the staff were nice. Couldn’t sleep though which is the point of a hotel. Had a road facing room and could hear every single car as it sped by. Torture. The shower was also maybe the worst I’ve had in the last 5 years of constant travel. Felt like someone held a pinched hose over me and there was no water pressure at off peak shower times. ”

“I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. ”
