"We had a great time. Absolutely loved the house and the property. We have never had and will never have the opportunity to stay at a place like this. The house is huge. The renovation first class. The pastures and horses, lovely. The beds are so yummy. We all agreed that we were going to go home and get rid of all our bedding and invest in better quality. Great location when visiting Longwood Gardens."

"If you are looking for a unique place to stay while visiting the Brandywine Valley, this is it. Beautiful field stone cottage that is over 200 years old, but with all modern amenities. Decorated with rustic antiques. Lovely view of creek and woods in back, saw deer, fox, and geese. Within 20 minutes of all attractions. Loved it, hope to return."

"We had an amazing wedding weekend thanks in no small part to our stay at Charlestown Springs Farm. Rich is an accommodating and very responsive host. When we first inquired about the property, he offered to give us a tour since we live locally. The house is dripping with charm and the surrounding landscape is picturesque. "Very good accommodations for the price. Convenient, clean, modern, comfortable. However, 2 issues -- 1 minor and 1 that might impact a return visit. The minor issue was that the shower curtain was torn and didn't prevent water from getting all over the bathroom. The second issue was the tremendous noise coming from Juniper Street on both nights. There was partying going on outside until 3:00 in the morning, and the noise level was unbearable -- worthy of police intervention."

"Stayed here for 2 nights and had no issues with anything at this property. The only downside is that they dont have their own parking but there is a parking garage right around the corner so is wasnt too bad. Overall would definitly stay here again."
