「Pepe, meme, 3 kids and their spouses, 5 grandbabies (oldest, 4 year old)We did tiny town, sight & sound, Dutch Wonderland. Lancaster really is a nice, humble, pleasant place to visit. 「Charming home. You can feel the history in the house and on the entire property. Sitting on the porch in the evening and just watching the fireflies come out, the deer passing through, and hearing the wild turkeys above us, so serene. We spent the days touring Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry taking in all the history and then returned home and we would think about thr history that took place here. 「The property was as described. It was a beautiful house with a great view of the lake. The house had all modern appliances but still had the charm and rustic feel of an older farmhouse.No issues with our check in. Our stay was for 7 days and never had any issues that needed a call made to the home owners. Would definitely stay again if we get back to SugarLake.」

「Beautiful and spacious property. We used this for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding pictures, bridal suite, etc. it had plenty of room for out of town family and friends. The kids appreciated the outside area and game room. The upstairs rooms were a little warm at night, could use a few fans! Plenty of space and utensils in kitchen. Enough towels and blankets. Great location on the river! Elvin is responsive and kind. The Clark Family appreciates you letting us use your wonderful home! 」

「We stayed at the Way-Har cottage as our son had a baseball tournament nearby. I especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen to be able to cook meals. The farm fresh milk and cupcakes they left for us was so kind! They were delicious. The beds were very comfortable. Our boys loved walking to the farm to see the animals and barn cats. 「The property and the surrounding area exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for 8 guys who graduated from Penn State in 1978 or 1979Our hosts were quick to respond to text messages! Highly recommended!」

「Beatifully appointed, clean house. Owners thoughtfully provided for every detail to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Close to a super Walmart and gas station, but perched on a peaceful plot of land near a babbling creek at the foot of a mountain. We were greeted out first morning by a Momma and her two baby deer. It rained a lot while we were there so we didn't get to use the fire pit for s'mores, booo! Guess we will try again next time.」

"This is a highly-recommended hotel. The location is quite convenient. Everything is great, feeling like a home. One thing that they can improve is the offering of the breakfast. It is quite hard to get breakfast outside the hotel in the morning. So, if there is breakfast offered, even a simple continental breakfast, that would be great and the convenient for business travelers."
