The trip was an experience that i enjoyed, however you must be open minded. Its a little primitive. Great communication from the owner. The weather was a factor I should have paid more attention to before I booked. I would go back.

The review says tell us about your stay, however, there never was a stay. I tried contacting the owner to go over the check in process, a man answered the number saying that he was given that number and he was sorry he couldn't help me. Concerning but I saw I could email them so I did and I got no response. I then saw other reviews from other individuals receiving poor service or no service like myself. Hotels.com needs to remove their account so they can't get away with scamming hard working people.

I contacted this property directly once I booked it and noticed other sour, unfavorably reviews. I’m a pretty open minded person so I figured it could just be due to miscommunication. I made contact with a woman named Brittany, filled out forms etc. I was under the impression that this boat was on a dock - which as other reviews mentioned, we never saw a boat or a marina. The address listed takes you to a condo complex. I drove 8 hrs down from Atlanta to Bradenton with my wife, and 4 year old son. I updated the property management frequently about our arrival time. Check-in clearly states check-in times between 5 and 9 p.m. I arrived at 6:45. They claimed to have another check in at 7 and told me to wait until 7:30. Brittany said another women would be handling our check in and they would update us. Then by 8:30 we were still waiting around for check in. I called 3 times with no response. Eventually someone responded saying quote (I have screen shots of the conversation) “They're loading up on the John boat They are across the bay. Maybe tomorrow would be a better check in Might be like a half hour or so”. Upon hearing this I was immediately alarmed, called with much concern to which I was told (again I have screen shots) “ Your getting. On my nerves”. Never once did someone tell us we would have to get on a secondary boat to this property. This felt extremely dangerous especially at night with a young child. We felt threatened and unsafe.
