“I stayed at Margaritaville in Costa Rica for a full week and overall had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. I chose the all-inclusive package and did excursions every other day, so I was only on the resort about half of the time. Even with that, I will say the food did get a bit repetitive. It was very catered toward American tastes and didn’t change much throughout the week — that would be my only real downside. Aside from that, everything else……

“Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Es war geräumig, es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher (was gar nicht notwendig war) einzig hätte es sauberer sein können. Mit dem Nachfüllen der KaffeeKapseln hat es nicht wirklich geklappt. Wir mussten dies mehrmals reklamieren. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Zum Strand musste man einen schmalen Gang durch Palmen gehen. Ab und zu sah man dort auch Brüllaffen. Das war sehr idyllisch. Ausnahmslos alle Angestellten war sehr freundlich und……

“Yes, very clean they organized and cleaned our room multiple times a day. They could’ve had more restaurants open. Some music down at the pool would’ve been nice. Apparently we went during their lowest season and it was only about 5 to 10% occupied so it was pretty quiet. There was a minor construction that disrupted our afternoon one day with some very loud pressure washers. It’d be nice if they had a club with music and dance floor . but they did upgrade us when we got there to a better room……

My wife and I enjoy the beaches of Guanacaste so when I have a block of days off we will make the run to Tamarindo. She found Hotel Perla on the beach so we wanted try it out.
