This cottage is ideally placed in Bridport, in a quiet road within walking distance of quite a few pubs. Bridport itself is a busy town with a few good shops and a good museum.

Exactly what we hoped for!

This cottage was both quiet and perfectly located to most of what Bridport has to offer -- which is a lot! The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We enjoyed eating at the historic Bull Hotel restaurant just yards away. It was a memorable trip, and I hope to visit again one day!

Good location

This property is ideally located in the centre of the town of Bridport and surprisingly comes with a dedicated parking space.

Lovely cosy cottage near town centre

We had a lovely stay over New Year in this very cosy character cottage in a perfect location just off the high street in Bridport, a short walk to all the pubs and shops (but very quiet, being in a small lane tucked in behind the high street)). Susan is very communicative and is quick to reply to any queries. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay in Dorset

Just returned from a lovely stay at Susan’s cottage in Bridport. The cottage was perfect for a long weekend, lovely, cosy and well equipped for our needs. The location was great for exploring the Jurassic Coast and was the perfect base for us. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful little cottage

We spend 9 days in this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The region is beautiful. Most important shops, pubs and restaurants are in walking distance. Bridport is a very nice small city and a good start for several trips to countryside or Jurassic coast. Many thanks to Susan

The cottage was cosy and comfortable right in the centre of town. The only noisy night was the first night was when we could hear some rowdiness from the pub. Apart from that it was really quiet. The parking was tight but manageable with our Toyota Yaris. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Excellent stay on a good location

Ad random we found thuis cottage. There had been no moment of regrets. It was a good place to stay home and perfect point to Explorer Dorset or Bridport. And the communication with Suzan was 👍 Jurassic Coast is wonderfull and Bridport had some great shops, restaurants to eat and pubs to drink a pint ( a Guinness for less then £3) In all aspects we like to come back.

Weekend stay in Bridport

This is a lovely cottage, full of character whilst still being comfortable and cosy. The location within the town is perfect. Completely quiet and peaceful but only two minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The addition of a car parking space is SO useful....and very rare! Our hosts were delightful. Communicative and available without being in any way intrusive. Altogether, a very good find!

Perfect place, great holiday!

Bang in the centre of the picturesque town of Bridport this place has everything: close to shops, theatre, restaurants and just a 30min walk to the lovely "Broadchurch" beach. In the house you can find a tiny but fully functional kitchen, a bathroom with a full bath and seperate shower and three bedrooms (sleeps 6, one bunk-bed). The kids loved the board games they found in the entrance cabinet and neighbour's cat. Overall a great place!

Bare bones and great

This is a great base for exploring this area of Dorset. Perfect location in town. It’s quite bare bones and the parking is very tight. We managed it alright with a small car though but it might be hard with a slightly larger vehicle. The internet is not very good in terms of speed and kept going out so it might be tough to work from here if that’s the plan. Susan was easy to reach and answered all the questions in a timely manner. Bring your own washing up liquid and enjoy this beautiful area!

Lovely period property

A lovely warm welcome to a beautifully presented period property. Fully equipped and very comfortable. The personal touches were very much appreciated e.g. leaving milk and cereal. Leaving a card and biscuits for my daughters birthday. In the heart of Bridport town, very convenient to all amenities. Loved the market days and the antique quarter.

Great mini break

We really enjoyed our short break at Susan's cottage in Bridport. The cottage was very clean and homely and is ideally situated for an easy walk to the shops and eateries.

Wonderful cottage in the heart of Bridport!

We had a delightful time staying in this sweet, cosy cottage in the heart of Bridport. It was clean, perfectly located for high street meandering and quick access to the Jurassic coast, and Susan, our host, was really helpful. Although the kitchen is a very tiny space for self-catering (a 1-at-a-time affair really), all other aspects of this lovely cottage were as expected and easy to navigate.We especially enjoyed eating our dinners out in the back terrace area as the sun went down and would definitely stay again!

Short Family Break

5 adults including an 89 year old lady on a short stay. Accommodation was all that we expected. The weather was good so we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet sitting in the courtyard. Great location within the town and a short walk to the local shops and amenities.

A pretty cosy cottage, very convenient for shops and restaurants

The cottage was lovely - clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The owners were friendly and helpful. It was especially good to have a wood burner, great on the colder evenings. The parking space made eerything convenient!
