「Loved the location however bathroom very dated. Could not believe given how hot the weather has been it does not have a fridge hence waters provided became warm. Was told people complain about the noise however surely a fridge outway a slight noise.」

「Old building. No lifts. So be prepared to walk stairs … ask staff to help with luggage’s.」

「The good: We were surprised by how quiet it was. There are bars, shops and the seafront very close by but as they are not right on that street, even on a summer Saturday evening it was peaceful. A fan was supplied which was much appreciated as it was an attic room with only a small window. There was a toilet just outside our room (shared bathroom). Check out was by 11am which is generous. The not so great: the hotel and room were tired, the carpets show a lot of wear, the mattresses were...

「Booked a ground floor room as difficulties with stairs. Not available when i arrived. So had to struggle to 1st floor.」

「I booked a room with seaview with the hope I can enjoy seaview in my hotel room. But then the room was facing other buildings. After some effort, I realised there was two inches seaview at the corner of the window. You need to make an effort in order to notice it! I think this is cheating. It’s a joke. 」

「It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated.」

「Although this room was described as a double, there was only room for 1 person, imo. There was no room to walk around the bed and no where to put luggage, so I had to leave my suitcase on the bed. There is no front desk. Everything is done with a phone call. Luckily I had bought a SIM card, although I wasn't really planning on it since I was only in the UK for 4 days. The staff were lovely.」
