「Quite the best property we have ever rented. Comfortable beds and everything in the kitchen one could possibly want for self-catering - and all looking wonderfully hygienic and spotless. 「Had a wonderful few days. The village is very quaint and the people are friendly. The cottage we rented was very well furnished, extremely clean and not lacking in any amenities. 「perfect. Clive the perfect Host! This little cottage, beautifully conserved and off the road with virtually its own private pub. As a base for our travels from Shipslake, to Henley, Oxford and Bray, it couldn't have been better sited. Two short walks are compulsory, one to the iron age fort site (very little evidence left) and the Anglo Saxon church on the other side of the road and two to the river and memorial. Not much further, but with a car and you have the Village of Hambledon (and Pub)...
