“Super beautiful and spacious home more than suitable for a large family gathering. Beautiful surroundings and great facilities. Lovely bedrooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Felt our stay was above and beyond. ”

“perfect. Clive the perfect Host! This little cottage, beautifully conserved and off the road with virtually its own private pub. As a base for our travels from Shipslake, to Henley, Oxford and Bray, it couldn't have been better sited. Two short walks are compulsory, one to the iron age fort site (very little evidence left) and the Anglo Saxon church on the other side of the road and two to the river and memorial. Not much further, but with a car and you have the Village of Hambledon (and Pub)……

“It was a relatively reasonable price for 4 days in February. Kitchen was great, bed was comfortable, lovely bed linen. But the bedroom is very light, with a security light shinning directly into the room all night, which didn't suit me, but I know others who like a light bedroom. Good wifi, Smart TV lots of choices. Not particularly comfortable furniture in the lounge, but then I am a bit of a lounge lizard and the 2 seater sofa doesn't allow for lounging! I would stay again.”

“A beautiful, quaint little cartshed perfect for any Vicar of Dibley fans who want to be located in the village.The village has no phone signal but was advised in advance that we could connect to the WiFi to make calls which we did without any issues.There was a lot of clutter as in ornaments and vases etc, but that is a personal preference.Highly recommend for a quiet getaway with gorgeous surroundings, there are no local shops so recommend a drive to Henley on Thames or the local Garden Centres……

“This cottage is situated in a beautiful part of Hambleden ,the cottage itself is spotlessly clean ,has everything you could possibly want and is very cosy and comfortable .We really appreciated the home made biscuits and pots of marmalade Kate had made for us.It is a perfect place to take your dogs ,there are many lovely walks nearby without having to use your car .Kate and Charles always make you feel very welcome ,and cannot do enough for you ,they arethe perfect hosts.Already looking forward……

“Aanrader. Een leuk huis met voldoende voorzieningen en een fijne serre vanwaar je uitkijkt over de gloeiende heuvels. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk. Enig minpunt was voor ons het bed. Dat vonden wij niet zo comfortabel (erg kort en erg zacht), maar dit hoeft uiteraard niet voor iedereen een probleem te zijn. ”
