"This is a precious little historical home with loads of charm. It has obviously had a lot of work put in. We stayed in Salida and drove to monarch to ski. The house is so close to parks and Main Street - easy to walk to everything. It’s dog friendly so the back yard is completely fenced in. Just something to keep in mind - the backyard doesn’t have direct access from the house. You have to go out a side door and through the gate. Wasn’t a huge deal, we just had to walk her out. "The couple that runs this property are very sweet and will help you with anything! Saw deer and trout! The hot tub was amazing by their little stream! They are local walking distance to downtown, but yet you still don’t hear the madness. It’s in a culdesac but it’s completely quiet and serene! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!"

"This place is wonderful for a getaway in the mountains. We went to Mt. Princeton and this was the perfect homebase for us. The house was clean and the bed was ultra comfy. Only thing we could complain about was the lack of privacy for the hottub. A privacy screen would be perfect. If you park your vehicle just right you can block the view passing cars. Other than that its a great place to stay for a couple of days."

"This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time."

"We stayed at one of those tiny homes. It was cute and comfortable for six of us. The only thing is the heater. it got really hot where the queen bed was, but all the other area stayed pretty cold. So some of us were sweating at night but some of us were freezing. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Had beautiful view of mountains, got to see some deer on the site as well. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay!"
