"My overall stay was pretty nice. But the hidden fees is where they get you. We were not prepared at all for all the fees we ended up having to pay for. The stay we had to pay for entering Mexico. Each excursion we paid for they had hidden fees that were not mentioned to us at all. But we still had to pay for “insurance” for EVERYTHING. if I were to go back i definitely would just stay at the resort and not pay for any excursions due to the fact we had to pay for so many other things ruined the experience of exploring the city. I had paid for a transportation from and to the airport. But once we landed I was told my name was not on the list so we had to figure out a way to and from the resort which also costed another 200$ "

"I recently stayed at the Riu, and my experience was excellent. The hotel was spotless throughout, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The food provided was great, with a good variety that catered to different tastes. Additionally, the location was fantastic, close to key attractions and convenient for exploring the area. Overall, I would give this hotel a solid 5 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-kept hotel with great location."

"For the most part, this was a lovely place to stay. The unit is spacious with two king beds and two large bathrooms, high ceilings, and a beautiful corner layout that offers pool views with little glimpses of the ocean.The unit itself was relatively clean, and the kitchen was decently stocked with the essentials needed to cook meals during our stay. It was also great to have access to a washer and dryer, along with laundry soap, which made things much easier for our family.We stayed with our two young children (6.5 months and 3.5 years old). While the space worked for us overall, families with very young kids may want to keep in mind that the floors are quite hard and the decor includes some delicate items. This wasn’t an issue with the host at all, just something other parents may want to consider when booking.Two small suggestions would be to have a vacuum available vs the broom, as the floors can pick up dust and crumbs fairly quickly. Also having a few more beach towels would be nice too. Our arrival experience was a little challenging. I had shared our anticipated arrival time in advance, but there seemed to be some miscommunication, and we felt a bit rushed coordinating check-in.That said, once we were settled, we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time. The pool, pool bar and restaurant, and the staff were all wonderful, and of course, the Cabo weather made the stay even better."

"Fabulous view and includes everything (towels, cooler & beach umbrella) you would need to enjoy the beach below with a very short walk. Some other reviewers made comment about the stairs being difficult but the stairs were easy both to the apartment and the beach and there’s even an outdoor shower near the top. If you can handle a couple of flights of normal stairs, you will be fine. When we arrived, the man that checked us in drove us down in a golf cart and carried our 2 carry on sized roller bags up the 2 flights for us but we would’ve been fine doing it on our own. The two chairs in the first photo with the little table have been replaced with chaise lounges with a small umbrella table which is an improvement and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. We turned off the air conditioning and left the ceiling fans on and listened to the waves when falling asleep and when waking up in the morning and there’s no better way to fall asleep. There were minor maintenance complaints, but nothing that would knock a star off this wonderful place!"
