Toronto Canon Theatre Hotels

"Hotel is clean , with a modern feel to it. Breakfast buffets are as wonderful with an assortment of fresh fruit, pastries and warm food . Staff is over the top helpful . The only downside is the parking. Didn’t feel safe parking in a public parking spot with no overnight security. Walked up the stairwell to find a man sleeping in the corner . Valet parking for those who want this option , would make this hotel a 10/10."

"Check in was seamless. I arrived early but staff were courteous and helpful. The view in my room was wonderful. I didn’t use the amenities or the restaurants. My trip was too quick. The location is very convenient."

"The hotel sells rooms under the false premise that the hotel is renovated. Very disappointing. The inital room offers was dirty. In “upgrade” executive room was cleaner, but still not a renovated room. Front desk were responsive, and respectful, yest they should not be in a position to have to deal with dirty rooms and false marketing complaints. Not sure why it is rated at 4 stars. It is very very dirty .. and very poorly maintained. Will never stay here again."

"I had requested the accessible room because I am in a small powerchair. I was thankful for the safety bar in the bathroom, but the doorway to get in the bathroom was so small that I could not get into it without hitting the door frame or door. The entryway was too narrow and it was hard to get my power chair underneath the sink because there was very little turning radius. There were safety bars in the shower, but they did not provide a shower seat. I stayed at the Delta a few months ago and the Doubletree was much better. The reception staff were exceptional."

"Easy location to get to from the airport with public transport. It was the cheaper option for our stay, the hotel was "Ok". It is a big hotel, at peak check in times the queues are long, same for getting on the elevator. We did not like the surrounding area Breakfast had the standard savoury and sweet options"
