"A delightful surprise. We usually want a stay that includes breakfast, but for what we needed when, this was the best choice. (Coffee was available gratis in the lobby and we planned our own breakfast ahead of time. But there is full breakfast service in their restaurant priced by menu choice). But very happy we ended up there. Traditional single story motel of a certain age, but the room was completely redone and modernized. On a hill with a stunning view. We were running late for arrival (horrid traffic early in the day delayed our whole day) and got a call from the proprietor She was worried that we hadn't arrived yet, was close to 8, and she wanted to know if she should get any food ready for us because all the local restaurants would be closed.
