Roath visit

The property was well maintained and in a great area convenient to everything. Check-in was easy and communication was very efficient and clear. The company was extremely responsive and I would definitely stay at their properties again. Thanks!

Bad smell, Poor Host Communication

I book six nights and arrived at the flat to find it as pictured, but not cleaned. There was an overpowering bad smell that made me sick and it was difficult to sleep, even with the windows open. They sent cleaners late the next day, but communication was difficult. The cleaning did help and I tried to sleep there that night, but unfortunately the smell returned.I think they are aware of the bad smell because there are empty air fresheners in every room of the flat. I booked the place I had come from and alerted the Host that I could not stay, as the smell was making me sick. (Smelled like mold and I had hives on my arms)They agreed to refund me the unused nights but as of now, I still have not received a refund. They asked for my bank details and those were given and now there is just silence.Dealing with them has been difficult which is never preferred during a vacation. VRBO was also extremely unhelpful, saying this is a trusted partner of theirs as if they did not believe me over the host. (Who would willingly repack their things and last minute move to another place, paying for an uber, and deal with getting a refund for no reason?) Overall this experience is incredibly disappointing. If you have any sensitive to smells or mold, I would not recommend them. Otherwise, it’s a nice place. Wish it could have worked out for everyone involved.
