“Location is amazing, overlooking Treyarnon Bay. Short walk down to beach and little further to Constantine Bay. Free parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good security measures in place. Photo ID required for all guests at check-in and key card entry needed to corridor and room. Room was basic but clean. Don’t forget your towels and toiletries! Breakfast was very good. Reasonably priced at £7.95 for continental buffet with good selection of toast, pastries, yoghurt, fruit and hot and……

“on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.”

“We absolutely loved our stay. Best location. The staff here are a real credit to the hotel. and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lovely lady that checked us in. The kind gentleman that happily changed our room after a slight issue and the really friendly lady at breakfast the following day. Lovely clean pool area and the best Margaritas!! All this plus it being in the most beautiful part of Newquay it really was a special birthday treat. We often visit Cornwall as we used to live……

“Fantastic location, just across the road from the beach. Very clean and most of the facilities you could need for a two night stay - they even have a mat put put the dog bowls on (we brought our own as we weren't aware of this but great if you are unprepared). Lovely spacious outdoor space too. Apartments felt very secure with codes for the entrance driveway, apartments and the key safe at the front door. Unfortunately we didn't find the sofa comfy, or the sofa bed (it was our preference to……

“Postives: Great location, clean, very comfortable, quiet, on site car parking, helpful on site host (apparently dog friendly too). Tiny negatives: You quite rightly could argue that no-one should need to watch the TV in a place like Watergate Bay, but the TV reception was poor (maybe it was intentional!). Car parking spaces are a bit tight. Maybe needs a new shower at some point in the future. Otherwise all good and would stay again/recommend to others.”
