“Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is great - walking distance to shops, dining, historical places, and The Old Course. Easy to find parking - either the free lot nearby or street parking right in front (nominal cost and free at night ). The property manager was very helpful and responsive. “Beautiful castle in the middle of a forest about 10 minute drive from the center of St Andrews (you will need a car or taxi if you stay here). Had a mini apartment that was enormous and spotless with huge sitting and bedroom with very comfortable bed. Manager/owner was very proactive/responsive, but be aware that I didn’t see anyone the entire weekend. Kitchen was stocked with many breakfast things and real coffee. “One if the staff went above and beyond when asked about laundry. She was amazing. She was also upset.to mearn that cleaning staff had left the dirty towels holding the door of our room open when we had checked in. She picked them up and took them away.. My husband really enjoyed the course. Due to the gale force winds he was not able to golf the 2nd day and he was disappointed. But that can be Scotland!.
