「It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. 」

「We had such an amazing stay! The house had everything we needed and more. We loved spending evenings on the porch playing games, sharing meals, and watching all the boats go by from the dock and porch. 「Absolutely loved this home. You could tell that it was well loved. The kitchen is stocked with the little things you need, like spices, and the pots/pans, dishes, etc., are well stocked. Beds are comfortable, and towels are fluffy. My suggestion, if you are traveling with teens, is to get them a bike rental. There is not much within easy walking distance, but plenty within riding distance. 」
