「Comfy and cute. Appreciated the snacks and water and fresh cut flowers. Extra blankets, pillows, and towels easy to find. Good communication with Fatima. I will echo what others have said about the shower as I was glad someone had previously reviewed and mentioned it so I could make my own decision- it is about 18-24 inches down without a safe way to step in and a large picture window which is uncovered. 「My partner and I had a really nice stay here. It was in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything within a 10 minute drive for our weekend getaway. The cottage itself was just the right amount of space for the two of us and was comfortable all around. I'd plan to stay here again on a future trip back. 」

「Great location: close to the Capitola village, but off the main street so it stays quiet. We took our coffee down to the beach each morning and enjoyed the sunrise over the water. Well appointed and clean, timely communication with the host. We would stay here again. 」

「Carmel is one of our favorite places on the planet, and Barb's backyard cottage is the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring. Amazing snacks, the coziest bed ever, a cute little blue couch for relaxing, a great shower, and more! I am scent sensitive (due to migraines), and we made a personal request in advance this time about fabric softener, which Barb graciously handled without question. 「We visited Ventura for the first time. Oxnard is where the property is, what a quite quaint place. It is within walking distance of the beach, beautiful weather and scenery from the home. Had great food nearby, a great little corner store for anything you forgot to pack. It was an amazing vacation. Would recommend staying here and would come back again. 」

「Property was clean, spacious, comfortable, cute, beachy and modern (not funky or grungy - very clean floors!) Very private to be up on second level. Centrally located - fun to be able to people-watch down on to main shopping street, from the comfort and privacy of living space. Convenient walk to everything. Bathrooms are updated, and especially generously-sized. Bedrooms are in back of unit, away from street. Both bedrooms could probably fit Cal King beds, but the Queen sizes were comfortable....
