“Room and property were clean and staff extremely helpful, very welcoming and friendly. Pricing for our room not facing the beach made it a terrific value. “The room was extremely unsanitary. The bedding had a stain that looked like blood or some other dirty residue, which made me very uncomfortable and unable to sleep throughout the night. “Only spent one night there as we were in town for a medical appointment. Check in by owner was very cordial and courteous, grounds and room were very organized and clean. Don't expect a lot of amenities, but all rooms have sunrise views, direct Lake Michigan access with beach chairs and a boat rental right next door. Almost forgot about the rooms shower, you'll love it!”

“The breakfast was minimal, the room was clean, older property compared to those around it. The resort next door is connected business and seemed to be nicer breakfast and amenities. No smoking area. The beach was very nice with chairs and towels. ”

“The room was clean. There was no staff on duty. Anything you needed, you had to go across a very busy street to get to because they didn't have enough staff to keep the office open. Their sister hotel was across the street (Howard Johnson) and they handled everything from check in/out, to additional supplies, to breakfast. I've never seen this before! The few staff I dealt with were courteous. Wifi was an issue. The price was reasonable and the location to downtown was very good. Would I stay……
