「Am enchanted place just a few hundred meters outside of Chamonix. The room was big and comfortable, with a very nice terrace. The place was incredibly silent and immersed in the forest, nearby a roaring river. 」
「We loved our stay here while on the Tour du Mont Blanc. We opted to take a short bus ride from the trail to the hotel and really enjoyed our stay here. The room was beautifully updated and clean. Argentiere was fun to walk around and we had a fantastic dinner at Stone Bar.
Additionally, the breakfast at Hôtel de la Couronne was delicious and filling for our day of hiking. 」

Beautiful location, and we liked that it was a 10-15 walk into town. It's a steep walk, but easy in regular footwear.

「Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day.
This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...
