「We loved this place. Mary (spelled English but pronounced French) is delightful. The property is her house and has only a very few rooms available. But our room was much larger than anywhere else we have stayed, had a larger bathroom than most places, and even had a shared kitchen. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, but there are cafes around the corner, and everything in Amboise is just across the bridge.」

「The most unique thing is Erica herself. Her warm smile every morning her eagerness to be of assistance without being ovver the top, I have not experieiced anything like it. 「We only stayed one night; wished we could have stayed a week! This is like a castle; beautifully appointed and the grounds are gorgeous. A truly unique experience. Also the beds were comfortable and the shower worked fine; and our host was perfectly cordial.」

「Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.」
