We stayed at this property due to its proximity to The Signal as we came from out of town to attend a concert. The hotel lobby gives antique and cutesy vibes. You can tell the rooms were also recently renovated. I would definitely stay here again.

The train car was very unusual and a unique space. The carpet underneath the dining table was too thin to Rippled and a trip hazard. It also looked dirty. The pullout bed was not easy to pull nor was it ready made as we requested. There was Not enough towels, sheets or pillows left for the trundle bed occupants. The front desk staff acted like because there was no cleaning staff at the hotel there was no way to get bedding nor anyone to come to set up the bed. Eventually, two men came, but didn’t know how to set up the bed. Also there was not enough lighting sit and read in the living area. It is two days later now and no electronic copy of my bill has been sent. The power was off in the lobby area so a paper bill was not available. Google maps leads you the back parking lot not the lobby. You might wanna fix that.

Our stay at the Hotel Chalet was everything we wanted it to be! The weather was raining which made for a perfect environment for laying in our train car listening to the rain. It was definitely worth the experience!

Absolutely. Lovely, beautiful views, stunning décor, wonderful staff. Had a chance to eat at a nearby restaurant called Nat's and Normans, I believe, and it was so good. I also stopped by another bar for a comedy show, which was really fun. But the Hotel Chalet itself was beautiful. Our room was exceptional. And the bathroom was my favorite

Brought our 5 yr old grandson to sleep in a train. Room was hot. Said they’d send someone to check. Waited & waited. Almost missed getting to the Incline Railway by 6pm. They did let us change rooms to one that was cooling better & credited us the $18 parking fee. No free drink tho.

The room was way bigger than i expected. Loved the patio. Staff was very friendly. Parking was a bit of a challenge as it fills up fast. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. The desk help could have been a little more informative as to what they had in the lobby in the morning for purchase. All in all it was a beautiful hotel on nice grounds.

When you walk into the hotel, it’s like stepping back in time. It is so beautifully decorated from the lobby to the rooms, you expect to find a speakeasy behind one of the doors. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the easy access to downtown Chattanooga, both walking and taking the free shuttle. I don’t think there is a better place to stay in Chattanooga.

Well not sure if it’s the motel or Expedia but the photos and a few of descriptions of the room show and say patio. Well when you stay on the 2nd floor, there is no patio. Then the 2 free drinks you get for vip?! 2 waters. Yep that’s what your vip is worth… then with the pool, it was so crowded the day we checked in that there were no chairs available so we decided to come back at 7am when the pool opens. Well the gate was locked and I went and asked the guy at the front desk and he said it didn’t open until 10 when the sign said daylight til dark. And it said on Expedia, 7am. So my wife about blew a gasket and called the front desk and finally the man said it was maintenance’s responsibility to open the pool!! So he lied to me about the time. So we wait until 9:45 and guess what, we get down to the pool and it’s half full of people! We swam for 30 minutes or so and being that the whole stay was less than you would expect from a budget beside the interstate motel would be, we packed up. We did ask for a 30 minute late check out and they agreed. Still waiting on when I’ll get my deposit back if I do. Anyway I’m about done with Expedia and I won’t stay at the chalet hotel ever again. It was just very unimpressive. Felt like the couple of interactions with the front desk guy, was a burden or I was asking for the moon. So, nope I’ll stay down the street before I would stay here again.
