Well not sure if it’s the motel or Expedia but the photos and a few of descriptions of the room show and say patio. Well when you stay on the 2nd floor, there is no patio. Then the 2 free drinks you get for vip?! 2 waters. Yep that’s what your vip is worth… then with the pool, it was so crowded the day we checked in that there were no chairs available so we decided to come back at 7am when the pool opens. Well the gate was locked and I went and asked the guy at the front desk and he said it didn’t open until 10 when the sign said daylight til dark. And it said on Expedia, 7am. So my wife about blew a gasket and called the front desk and finally the man said it was maintenance’s responsibility to open the pool!! So he lied to me about the time. So we wait until 9:45 and guess what, we get down to the pool and it’s half full of people! We swam for 30 minutes or so and being that the whole stay was less than you would expect from a budget beside the interstate motel would be, we packed up. We did ask for a 30 minute late check out and they agreed. Still waiting on when I’ll get my deposit back if I do. Anyway I’m about done with Expedia and I won’t stay at the chalet hotel ever again. It was just very unimpressive. Felt like the couple of interactions with the front desk guy, was a burden or I was asking for the moon. So, nope I’ll stay down the street before I would stay here again.
