"Positives- comfortable room/ bed, good shower, gym, underground parking, easy 15 min walk to centre of town Less good - room was long, skinny and with a sofa bed taking up most of the floor space, 1st floor looking into unattractive courtyard so dark but quiet! It seems very popular with families so young children everywhere! "

"Our stay was good and comfortable. We arrived late (just after 9pm) the restaurant was closed so we couldn't order food, only 'tapas' was available, deep fried frozen food which was horrible! Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room."

"Loved this hotel….. the room (water view) was huge, big bathroom well appointed. The building is really quite something. Ok, the windows were original and not particularly sound proof so it was a little noisy, but this didn’t bother us. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely sitting rooms….. I will go back if I can…"

Hotels.xom could not help so booked another hotel to find that after 45 minutes of waiting for the lights to suddenly turn on! The person at the counter spoke no English and did not explain why they were closed without notice. I couldn't get refund on other hotel I booked. "Great hotel with a comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom with heated towel rail. Appreciated the mini fridge to keep our white wine cold. Parking in the courtyard was great. Would stay here again."

"The location was perfect: a five minute walk from the train station, and an easy stroll down a car-free street to the central square. The reception area was charming, and the check-in staff, efficient. The stairs are steep, but we were forewarned and do not carry a lot of luggage, so it was manageable.
