“Drove up from florida for my mothers funeral. Online this place states it has a pool/hot tub, breakfast , coffee and the pictures show a quant, small town hotel. Reality is, its a run down, out dated, over priced dump! Pool and hot tub...out of order ( after talking with a few locals, they said it hasnt been operational for close to a year), no coffee maker in room, coffee maker in lobby...out of order. Breakfast...beware!!!! Reheated dried out egg (pucks), half cooked ( pink in the middle)……

“The breakfast was good. It was a standard continental breakfast. The lady that was helping Friday night was very friendly and helpful. However, the room is advertised as a 4-person room. My older daughter had to sleep in a friend's room as we had a double bed with a pull-out couch. Which was fine until we go to open the pull out and we had no sheets, a majorly stained mattress and it was a twin bed! How were we sleeping 4 people in that room? My kids are 13 and 15 and neither one would fit on……

“The breakfast was cold, what was left of it anyways. Bath tub wouldn’t drain as we took a shower. No hot water. We were given 3 towels and were told they didn’t have more when we asked. Air in room barely worked. ”

“One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside would be the parking situation, which the staff was very helpful in explaining it. I also love how i cant hear people out in the hallway or next door. Lots of privacy and rest.”

“Very easy check in. The room was clean and had everything we needed with extras! Delicious breakfast and they kept it fresh. My daughter used the hot tub after a long couple days of dance competitions and found it nice & hot..best massage she said!”

“First and foremost, if you are staying at Mayo - you must know that this is not the correct hotel to stay at if you desire to quickly run back to the hotel between appointments. It is a 15 minute walk to the closest Mayo building, more with construction. It is also important to know it is directly next to active train tracks, which will wake you up at 2:45AM at least once on your stay. The person we checked in with was slightly unpleasant, mainly treating us like we were inconvenient for……
