"Driving the Tail of the Dragon and staying at the Tapoco lodge as been on my bucket list for years. Neither disappointed. The folks at the lodge were super nice, dinner and drinks were lots of fun. The location is fantastic and the property is really enjoyable. The cabins are rustic cabins so don't expect 5 star accommodations but they're fun. "

"Amazing place to stay. Very private with only 6 rooms and off the beaten path. I had no idea what I was getting into but this was one time lady luck smiled on me. Me and my lady enjoyed our time there exploring the many water features and trail to the top of the mountain where there's a park bench and a amazing view. I hope to get back soon and stay longer next time. I can almost guarantee you've never stayed anywhere like this before. If you need a get away this is your place."

"We had a great stay and the property is beautiful and as pictured. The house had plenty of room for our 6 adults and 4 young children. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was very clean. We wished the weather was better for us to use the outside patio and deck because the outside space is just as impressive as the inside. One thing to note is that there are no blinds or curtains on any of the windows, specifically in the bedrooms so it was hard for some of us to sleep with the outside...

"Overall we had a great time at this cabin. The pictures don't do it justice, it is HUGE. There was plenty of room for all 19 of us and the basement was amazing for all the kids. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! The porches were amazing, the hot tub was great and you could hear a stream somewhere off in the woods! So relaxing! We went on the Polar Express while we were there. It was about 40 min drive but it was an easy to navigate to...

It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO.
