“What a lovely room! We stayed in the Hill room with a garden view. The home was beautifully appointed. We enjoyed a great night sleep, and then breakfast in the dining room. A walk around the property was the perfect ending. Sorry we didn't get the chance to dine here, but Matthew had great recommendations for us.”

“The property was nice but felt like any little “extra” came at a cost. Hot Tub? You had to pay per person for 30 minutes. Have not seen that before. No laundry facilities as advertised and cake in drawing room was added to invoice on check out. Nice property but be aware of extras. ”

“Great B&B . Everything we needed for an overnight stay in Oban before heading to the ferry to Mull .Very convenient and good fitness waking up the hill to the property . Taxi if not inclined to walk up hills . Really nice touch to have the breakfast cereals , juice and yogurt . Thank you .”

“The room and facilities are old looking and small. Especially for the bathroom. But the beds are clean and tidy and provide car parking. ”

“We are now back at home after our trip. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the Whisky Vaults but the most positive thing was that the bed was comfortable. 1. Staying for 2 days but the room was not serviced. 2. Breakfast, in a brown bag appeared on the first day only. 3. Thanks to Connor, who took an item of luggage upstairs. There was no lift and the back stairs were a challenge to my wife who is waiting for an ankle operation. 4. I would not be in a hurry to recommend the Whisky……

“Very good accommodation in excellent central location. Good service from pleasant staff Let down a little by room heating not able to be controlled from individual room without intervention from reception. Room not made available at agreed time ”

“Excellent stay - really enjoyed. Lovely atmosphere, clean and well run. Very comfortable beds! Would use again.”

“The room was clean. The bathroom has been renovated with good shower pressure. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable. Note that there is no elevator on the premises - not a big deal for us but that may not be the case for everyone. Lastly, the breakfast is overpriced. I would probably go out if I were to return. At 15 pounds each, that converts to just under $30 can. Even in overpriced Toronto, that’s expensive.”

“Staff was outstanding. The rooms were out of this world. Great location and the views were great. Traveled from the USA and our hotels could really learn from you guys. Also Rona webt above and beyond, she deserves a real pat on the back. The male manager was awesome as well always checking to make sure everything was ok. ”

“We loved everything about this apartment, in a quiet buy super close to the harbor, 8 minutes walk, beautiful clean apartment with everything needed, fairly new and very modern. Highly recommend.”

“The hotel is functional, a bit dated looking from the outside, better inside but the shower in our room was not fit for purpose. Decent food but the menu is very limited. Parking is virtually non existent but the street parking is free after 6pm until 9am.”

“Over price, facilities too old”

“What a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. Our room had a view of the water. We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. It’s obvious that a lot of careful thought has been put into making this B&B a wonderful place. ”

“Very difficult to move around the bathroom, the door hit the side of the bath when opened from the bedroom. We had reserved a dog friendly room, fortunately, we have a small dog because there was very little room for his crate. I suspect we were given a less adequate room, ( adjacent rooms I viewed had a better layout) because the hotel was catering for large groups and we were staying just one night. This was despite the fact that I booked it months ago.”
