“Very nice room except a microwave was missing in the room. A short while after I checked in another guest opened my room (with a code). They must have double booked. It was very loud outside and inside. Not good sound proofed. Nice hot tub!”

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“This is a small establishment but because of this the service provided was more personal and attentive than a large hotel. My room wasn’t overly large but adequate for my needs. There are personal touches eg free sodas and snacks which I appreciated. I was also given a card to enable me to buy breakfast at the bakery in Golden which was good quality and very reasonable.”

“The 10pax suites is even smaller than the 8pax suites, yet the price is much more expensive for the 10pax room. With a disable pax in our group, we had to request for change of the 10pax suites to the ground level, and they only have a 8pax suites available. Cleanliness needs a bit more working. Scenic view is perfect overseeing the Columbia River. ”

“Staff were very nice. Bathroom reno was nice. Room smelled bad. Water tasted like old pipes. Fridge was roomy. Beds were fine. Needed extra blankets as they were thin, and had to leave window open for fresh air due to the room smell but it was chilly out. Breakfast was more than adequate, everyone in our family was happy with it. Pool was good, a bit cold, hot tub and sauna were great. Overall, experience was as expected for a budget hotel EXCEPT FOR the fact the hotel is branded as a……

“Very basic, a room with a bed and a lamp and shared bathroom. The hot water heater was broken, shower was made available in a cabin next to the building. No one was there when I arrived so I called and the mgr came later. 30 minutes away from town.”
