「Such a great place. Excellent breakfast. So worth the 15 minute drive outside the city.」

「Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. Breakfast was great with outlook over country side.」

「The hotel is very clean. The staff is wonderful and will do anything to help. They even stayed way past the normal end of check-in time because our plane was so late getting to Inverness. I would definitely recommend Smithton Hotel!」

The food was great, we recommend the scallops, duck and venison dishes. We stayed in room 6 which was lovely and a really nice ensuite bathroom. Very quiet and slept well so can’t complain!」

La posizione è comoda sia per andare verso nord, sia per scendere verso il lago Loch Ness, e il paesino in sé è abbastanza servito. Il prezzo è ottimo, ma siamo rimasti un po’ delusi dalla struttura in sé una volta arrivati. Se non avete pretese e’ un ottimo punto di appoggio, ma l’aspetto generale e gli arredi risultano piuttosto vecchi e fatiscenti. La nostra camera era spaziosa, il bagno era basico, piccolino ma...

「Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.」

「We were Not !! Told we were in a chalet cottage, it didn't advertise cottage either it was dark dingy and uncomfortable. The continued breakfast was stale croissants and the orange juice the bottle was black. There were no 24hr staff either 」

「This property was severely lacking for the price point. We have stayed in “ castles” before, so we know what to expect. Kincraig’s exterior looks dirty. The roof needs attention. There are missing slates. The windows need some type of weather seal to help keep moisture from coming in rooms. Our pillows and bedding were damp. The bedding was very poor. They did have a mattress cover, but instead of a fitted sheet, they used a flat sheet. The pillows were the worst! They were flat and didn’t...
