“Lovely stay at The Edgewater. Fantastic property near town and many cafes and restaurants. Great spot for a sunset happy hour at Mal’s bar. Good value for Raro. We also enjoyed a great afternoon cocktail at their sister property Club Raro which was also a great place.”

“We loved our stay at The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium. It truly felt like a real holiday. We loved the fresh towels each day, the range of activities for both adults and children, and the foosball, pool, and ping pong tables. The kids were thoroughly entertained, and everyone got exactly what they wanted from the holiday. The highlight of our stay was the snorkeling tour. A special mention goes to Moi and Joe, who made our trip especially memorable. The service from all the staff was……

“The staff to a person went over and above to ensure everything was good for you personally. The staff to guest ratio was high so everything you required was ready quite quickly. After just one introduction the staff remembered us by name and they always had a smile for you.The site was not overcrowded with plenty of opportunity to mingle if you wanted or be on your own. For us the adults only was a real plus however the age mix was good cross section of younger to not so young. Being on its own……

“We stayed in the Tamure wing of the resort, it’s newly built with great modern amenities. Patio area was garden like and very pleasant. There are other areas of resort accommodation (pool/ocean view) that are tired and dated. As a 3 star venue I reckon you get good value for money and we loved Club Raro overall. We also made use of the laundry which was easy and effective. The staff are so helpful and charming. They do a fantastic job”

“Beautiful new resort. Great location, on site bar and restaurant. 2 pools. Beach chairs and paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear etc. Air-conditioned room. Highly recommended.”

“The room was clean staff lovely and the swimming pool with spa pools was so nice l loved how its so close to town supermarket restaurants airport quiet at night as its away from the busy roads lots of roosters crowing in the area which gives it a country touch it had everything in our villa microwave stove oven Dishwasher washing machine and drier and we used the outdoor Weber BBQ we will stay again if we ever go to Rarotonga again”

“Pacific Resort is beautiful especially the beach. We were lucky enough to snorkel and see heaps of colourful fish and many turtles. Breakfast buffet was very standard and for the price it could improve. The lunch and dinner was good but I think that it should be more variety. For example you could do themed nights like Mexican, Italian etc. I heard other people making the same comment during our dinner. Apart from that everything else was good and we had a lovely time.”

“The resort is very attractive , lovely buildings and landscaping . The interiors were attractive and comfortable loved the massive super king bed and plenty of various pillows so was easy to find one to our liking. Our beachfront suite was first floor with lovely views over the lagoon and reef but felt a little dated in some repects and certainly a little tired . Time for a little refurbishment maybe . However overall was a lovely resort to be in for our first visit to Rarotonga . We loved……

“This resort is in an ideal place with all rooms having an ocean view. The shipwreck hut bar and restaurant on site is a great bonus. The staff on site were excellent. The rooms and some of the site facilities could so with a bit of an upgrade but overall it was an excellent place to stay and the cost was very reasonable. We would definately stay there again in the future.”

“Beautiful small hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, great views, very nice beachfront bungalows, very good food. A real bargain compared to other South Pacific destinations.”

“Liked the location right on the beach to relax but not for swimming as it’s very rocky. Rooms were tidy n serviced well but bathroom was not well maintained with very old fittings.. water flow in the shower was trickling inspite of them fixing it. Breakfast was exact same every day no change at all. Coconut water was never available. Staff was a mix of being courteous and not too polite. Overall was ok.”

“The breakfast is a very basic continental. We ended up eating breakfast most days elsewhere. The bar has yummy food but could do with a renovation to make it more inviting. If it’s windy this property gets no shelter at all. We spent most of our time out of the resort. Short walk to yummy Saigon and Central station coffee. ”
