「I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave.」

「As a football fan, it was great to stay at a place with such a close association to the professional game. The grounds and buildings there were very grand and impressive. I stayed at the main house with a sprawling set up providing space for work on my laptop and a big bathroom with a cracking shower. I decided to use the gym which was functional but somewhat underwhelming considering the backdrop. 「Great low price. The rooms are dated and in need of renovation, but they are clean」

「I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process」
