「Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. 」

「The Knoll House Hotel has a lot of character and some charming communal rooms (a bar, lounge and games room). From the front loan you have an amazing view of the sea. There are also other facilities, such as the outdoor swimming pool that is a plus, especially on a warm, sunny day. It is situated in a lovely, quiet area by the Studland coast and just a short walk from the beach. We stayed in a room in an annex at the back of the main building and it was quiet and pleasant. 「So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit 」
