This property was very nice and spacious for a large family. The appliances are of good quality and all work well.Beautiful view of the beach and direct access to it.The only minor whinge I had was that it did not have a hair dryer but besides that highly recommended.

Anzac Long Weekend

Clean, comfortable and convenient. The property was perfect in all areas and made our stay in Port Stephens very enjoyable. The location, near the Anchorage resort and marina, was excellent as was the access to the beach and wonderful gardens on the waterfront.

Beautiful house, perfect location - we are a group of women in our early 60’s who stayed 3 nights at this wonderful house.The only negative we gave is that the BBQ was filthy - rodent poo and dirt on the hot plate. Downstairs toilet had not been flushed properly and smudge marks in the bowl.

Excellent house layout for a big family gathering.

We had a great time with all being close family. All at the house found it excellent. Our only negative was none of our companion dogs were allowed anywhere on the land or garden so had to sadly be left at others for care. One that is too close to my grandaughter to be separated ,forced me to rent another property for them and she could not even visit us. Thus we will not stay here again.

Sisters Summer holiday

Five of us sisters, and our husbands spent a glorious seven days at this little bit of paradise. The house was perfect for us. The bedrooms were all spacious and the linens were lovely. Checking in was very easy and we settled in on the first day with a visit to the beach just a short distance in front of the house. We spent every day on that private little beach and the dolphins swam by every afternoon to fill us with delight. The views are fabulous the shopping Centre is close by and it’s a very short drive to Nelson Bay for some retail therapy . We all agreed. This was the most beautiful holiday we have had for a long time. Thank you stays we will definitely be rebooking.

We especially liked having 2 lounge areas and 2 dining areas (inside and outside on a covered balcony) where everyone could eat together. Unfortunately, the coffee maker’s milk frothier didn’t work. Also, locks on the bathroom and toilet doors would have enhanced privacy.

Unfortunately an accident intervened and we were generously offered the opportunity to move the stay which we did to late March.The accident occurred within the non cancellation window. The home would have comfortably accommodated eleven people(we only had eight on this visit).Location is fantastic for both adults and kids with no roads between the house and water. Also only a short walk to a playground or the restaurant bar and coffee shop at the Anchorage.It is a quiet at night except for some wildlife.Dolphins were visible from the verandah every day we were there.The home was very comfortable.

We had an extendable gate for the top of the stairs which helped contain toddlers. Location was perfect, beach was great, loved you could watch dolphins swim by, kids used the footpath for scooters and trikes. The kayaks and lifejackets were a nice surprise.
