Summer fun in Corolla

This was our sixth trip to OBX but first to Corolla.The house was as pictured- clean and met our family's needs.Well stocked with infant/toddler gear. The house was part of the corolla light resort but not in the resort proper. Was walking distance to the shad road beach entrance as well as a great playground in Corolla park. There was a trolley but had to walk to the stop and it did not come as often as we were initially told. Oceanside pool was much nicer than the sound side pool which was closer - need to drive or take the trolley to the ocean side pool. James was a great host- very responsive. The only negative was that the smell from the sound tended to permeate the house at various times depending on the weather/ direction of the wind- not something that can be helped. Had a great time and would definitely return to corolla light.
