“Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather.”

“The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. “I stayed here for three nights. The first two nights were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, my last night raised serious safety concerns for my family. I had to wake up early the next morning for a six-hour drive to Manuel Antonio, but around 1:00 AM, the unit next to ours started playing extremely loud music. A visibly intoxicated couple was yelling and screaming with no regard for others. I attempted to call the front desk multiple times, but there was no answer. After……

“This place is huge and beautiful. I don’t think the pictures on the website give enough impression to show people how gorgeous this place is. Few minor maintenance repairs to be done but it looks like they renovating now. It didn’t affect our stay. Located only few minutes away from la Fortuna waterfalls. We were given free entrance tickets to Hanging bridges park for the whole family and breakfast at the restaurant that located few minutes away. Very good experience, would definitely be back if……
