「Staff are absolutely excellent.」

「Great staff and friendly service. Food was very good but they stop serving early (8pm on our day of arrival) so only just made it. Shower wasn't working on the first night but they got this fixed by the second night. Room quality was fine for the price. Would definitely stay again if in the area.」

「Overall, the room is warm and comfortable although it is relatively small, sufficient for move of one person. The bathroom is large and warm. One drawback is the location is not near to Durham town Center (35 -40 minutes walking distance) and go some slopes before reach the hotel. 」

「This is a “get-away” hotel with a golf course and spa facilities. A car is needed to get anywhere away from the hotel for shopping or other entertainment. It worked for us as I could play golf while my partner was in a four-day workshop. Very nice golf course with club and trolley rental. Staff at the golf course provided great service. Service at the one restaurant was not so great in the evenings. Compared to some other hotels in Newcastle, the breakfast buffet was disappointing for the same...
