「Lovely hotel. Will say before all else - the food was amazing! Breakfast was brilliant but we also ate in the restaurant the night of and this was delicious. Would drive 1.5hours to come back again! Otherwise the hotel seems to be a little hidden gem. Staff very welcoming to us (and 2 under twos - always a challenge). Very accommodating, great communication and friendly. Hotel itself situated nicely near local castle to explore and easy footpath walks behind the hotel into the hills/by a little...

「For a first trip by myself definitely felt safe and comfortable. Staff were amazing, so friendly there was always a good atmosphere. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. No parking but two carparks in walking distance can top up on a morning. Option to come and go from side gate so can avoid being in the way when pub is busy. Breakfast 10/10 Steak and Ale Pie 10/10」

「Stone hotel is a lovely property set in the soothing Yorkshire Dales Countryside. The hotel was comfortable, food delicious and staff were friendly and provided first class service. My husband and I had a memorable break there. We will return. 」

「As described it’s a little old around the edges with some mould around the door frame in our bedroom. Having said that I’d definitely stay again. Very welcoming, comfortable, had our own door into the garden for our dog which was an absolute bonus and to top it all the food was delicious. Really pleased I found it. 」

All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. 」

「I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. 」

「A very nice hotel , good rooms and superb food and wines. Dover Sole for dinner was magnificent. Wines chosen from their adjacent wine shop ( corkage £10 per bottle ) were exceptional and good prices for Bin ends. Staff were very helpful , polite and very efficient.」
