“This is an absolutely beautiful property. It’s very secluded and has a very romantic feeling to it. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like family. We booked it last minute after our VRBO ended up being a scam and we had to scramble to find somewhere to sleep. This owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome after our terrible experience with the VRBO. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore from your room. I highly recommend checking……

“Rooms were simple but we did go to Tamarindo to sit in our rooms all day. Our cleaning lady did a great job everyday. The layout of the resort was a little different than I had imagined. Our rooms were across the road from beach and restaurant however this was not a issue. Buffet was loaded with local foods and fresh fruit! We did not use the pool near the beach but the one located near our room was big, clean and never felt packed. It was nicely located within the town. Overall I would stay……

“We spent the last 5 out of 14 nights in Costa Rica at The W and it was the perfect way to wind down and end the trip! The staff were truly amazing- so kind and attentive, friendly, knew our names and room number by like the 2nd day. All of the restaurants were very fun and offered a wide variety of food. The breakfast buffet was great! Cocktails were all delicious. Lots of fun free fitness and cooking classes. We would absolutely return :)”

“Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! ”

“The stay at El Sabanero Eco- Lodge was incredible. I stayed there with one of my close friends in a single bed suite. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It was amazing the ways that the lodge works to be eco-friendly while still offering a comfortable experience. There was a water station for hot and cold water to fill your water. The wifi does not connect in the cabins however it was incredible to disconnect and the wifi in the main lobby worked well. The road where the……
