「I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!」

「Small, cozy, friendly, quiet....we stayed for a month in the jungle of Guanacaste with Gary and his dog, Wally! The pool is wonderfully shady in the afternoons, Gary is a warm and friendly host, helpful and kind. We were looking for someplace near to beaches, great sunsets, and no crowds....meeting the locals, shopping the local markets, etc. This is the perfect spot to just sit back and relax.」

「The villa is amazing. Well designed, beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle. Plenty of space to lounge outside and enjoy the pool and wonderful breakfasts and dinners, plenty of bedrooms for our family's 4 groups (11 people). Terrific view to see waves crash on the rocks. But most of all, Sonia and her staff were incredible. So helpful, always pleasant, so efficient and professional, and wonderful, I mean wonderful cooks. 「VERY clean property. All as advertised, just note that Casa Iguana is the apartment above the second house at the back of the property. Very nice owners, they leave on the ground floor below and are full of “spot on” advices for activities in the region. Amazing howler monkeys came to eat the papaya tree leaves in front of our balcony, such a stunning experience. Proximity to Samara beach and the small but quiet patio over the natural reserve are definitely the highlights of this rental!」

「notre séjour s'est bien passé,la route pour se rendre a besoin d'entretien,mais rien de majeur,la maison etait parfaite pour ma conjointe en fauteuil roulant,à part la largeur des portes patios,l'accès à la piscine est aussi à revoir pour une personne à mobilité réduite,la verdure et les oiseaux,papillons,singes sont au rendez-vous,À 15 minutes de Samara pour les marchés,et à 25 minutes de la magnifique plage de Carillo.
